:: Lara Croft Redesign - Comic Con Challenge ::
For the comic con challenge 2009, I decided to do a redesign of the Legendary adventurist Lara Croft. From the start I knew I had to go futurristic/Post apocalyptic with her. A lot of her was inspired by the fallout 3 work I did before, Rage, Borderlands and even from Iron Man. The art style was more semi realistic at start but as I moved on I decided to explore it more by trying a concept art type art style as seen in games like borderlands and the new prince of persia. I was a lot of fun doing her, as I learnt more about female anatomy and tried my hand on some serious hard surface modeling. Tried different approaches with my production workflow while making different accessories for her.. most of it was inspired by Vitality Bulgorav style of work. I would also like to thank my friends Sriram, Samar and Rep for always being there to help me with this and also the awesome forum and fellow forum members from game artisans. It was an incredible challenge.
